Harold, late of Regina and formerly of Southey, SK, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the age of 92 with his family by his side.

He was predeceased by his wife, Etholeen in 2010; his parents Ferdinand and Amelia; brothers, Rudy, John and Erwin; sisters, Hilda Tourney, Frieda Hodel, Ella Norleen and Evelyn Van Meer.

Harold is survived by his children, Shirley (Don) Shankowsky, Wanda (Terry) Manz, Terry (Bonnie) Huber, Garth (Karina) Huber and Glenda (Barry) Meyer; grandchildren, Matthew (Maureen), Josh, Megan (Todd), Andrew, Sarah, Ryan, Dallas, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Frankie, Caleb, Gabriel and Zachary; sister Doris Hansen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Harold farmed in the Southey area for many years before moving to Regina in 2002. He was a very social person and loved to spend time with family and friends. He could often be found having coffee at the Northgate Mall food court. Harold enjoyed the last 18 months residing at the Revera Renaissance. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Due to Covid gathering restrictions a private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Giese officiating. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link above on the day of the service.  Interment will take place in the North Southey Cemetery at a later date.
