It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of Tyie Fischer of Lumsden, SK on July 15, 2021 at the age of 17. Tyie was a baseball player, a golfer, a hockey player, a great friend, an amazing brother, a cherished son and an absolutely beautiful human being. Tyie was known for his big smile and positive attitude towards life. There was nothing more important to Tyie than his friends and family. Tyie was born with a heart condition, however it never held him back or affected his positive outlook on life, a true CHAMP! Survived and sadly missed by his brothers Kian, Jon and Ryan; his sisters Siarah and Myiah; his parents Shelly and Matt; and his furry sisters, Blu and Revi. Tyie will also be sadly missed by all of his great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coaches and teachers. A Celebration of Tyie’s Life will be held at River Park Baseball Diamonds (Jets Diamond-you’ll see the big tent) in Lumsden, SK. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. To view the livestream of the service, please click on the link above on the day of the service. Tyie had a very sweet tooth and his favorite treat ever was a cinnamon bun (or 3). Please consider making and donating a batch of your best cinnamon buns. We hope to have a room full of cinnamon buns for everyone at the celebration to share. Donations may be dropped off at the Lumsden Centennial Hall between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Please dress casually for the event, consider wearing your favorite jersey. Family and friends so wishing, may make memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 1011 University Dr., Saskatoon, SK, S7N 0K4, or 7726 107 Street North West, Edmonton, AB, T6E 4K3.
