Obituary of Lorna Jean Donelda Lavis

Lorna was born in Regina on February 27, 1914 and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Marjory (Jack) and her brothers, Stewart and Clarence. Lorna will be dearly missed by her children, Mildred (George) Sorokowski of Winnipeg, MB and Stewart Lavis of Vancouver, BC; three grandchildren, Laurel, Maria and Jonathon, several great-grandchildren and her many friends from Wapella, Regina and around the world. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
