Obituary of Pius Fix

PIUS FIX December 7, 1922 April 17, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Pius on Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, two sisters and cousins Mathias Zacher, Viktor Fix and Lydia Wizmer. Pius is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Irene; son Roland Fix; daughter Rosemarie Macdonald; granddaughter Laura Macdonald (Michael); brother Joseph Fix; sister-in-law Irmgard Schnurr; niece Elisabeth (Ladd) Fogarty and family; nephews Karl (Sandy) Fix and family; W. Michael (Lynn) Fix and family; Eduard (Nancy) Zacher, and cousin Albine Zacher. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Nguyen presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8 would be appreciated.
