So sorry to hear of the passing of Gwen. She was so accomplished in many ways and always poised, kind and caring. We very much enjoyed the one evening when Barry and Gwen invited us for supper. It was a very delicious meal topped off with Tiramisu dessert. She will be missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Our deepest condolences to Barry and family.
Sincerely, Diane and Richard Stone

Barry, Allison, Blair and Family,
We were very sad to learn of the news of Gwen's passing. She was both colleague and friend, and we have many fond memories of our time together. As a teacher, she is remembered for her kind, gentle ways, her humour, and warm, welcoming smile that made the most nervous feel at ease and ready to learn and fulfil their potential with her encouragement. She will be remembered and missed by many who were lucky enough to have been influenced by her presence in their lives. We are grateful to have participated in the livestream - thank you for this option. You remain in our prayers during this time.
Jane, Ernie, and Holly Paluck

Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Gwen. I had the privilege of meeting Mrs.Falconer at St. Andrew School as a student and then once again teaching with her. My younger sister had Mrs.Falconer as a teacher in Gr.5 and recalls her experience with her as pivotal, as she was the voice that spoke when she was being bullied on the school grounds. Mrs. Falconer was a talented, kind and engaging teacher. She will be missed. Joanne Hamilton

Gwen was a most beautiful person and gentle soul. She was an excellent teacher who was there to guide, coach and develop her student(s) in every way.
I knew her through Library Services at the former SIAST/now Polytechnic. She always encouraged her students to interact with our staff and to access resources for their various assignments. Gwen was a very good library supporter as well and we looked forward to her visits and chats.
Condolences to her family ... we will remember her in our hearts.

The world has lost a very enthusiastic, caring, involved and loving soul. To be proud of the woman Gwen was makes the grief a wee bit easier to bear, I hope. I appreciated her smiling interactions whenever we met. My heart goes out to Barry, Allison,, Blair and Rayka. “A life well lived leaves its gentle pattern on the hearts of all…and the world is a lovelier place because one person touched it with warmth and goodness, and grace.” (Jessica St. James)

Dear Barry and Family
We send sincerest condolences on the passing of Gwen.
We remember chance encounters with Gwen and Barry through the years.
The four of us would unexpectedly meet in front of Chapters,on the toboggan hill, at the doctor’s office, or at the airport in Victoria. We would begin visiting and chatting for what seemed like a few minutes but was actually for half hours.
We always had questions for Gwen about her medical concerns but she usually
turned us away from that topic onto happier ones.
.We used to say that when we ran into the Falconers time flew by. This took on a dramatic meaning the day we were visiting with Barry at the Victoria airport when our conversation was interrupted by a Flight Announcement that Barry’s flight had just departed! Gwen kept Barry a bit closer to her side after that day.
Love John and Linda Sandalack

Dear Barry and family,
I was very sorry to read of Gwen's passing. I will miss her enthusiastic participation in our online wine classes. Although I only met her through this format her natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about all that life had to offer, from music to art to wine and food, was very evident.
My sincere sympathies,
Greg Harasen

I offer my condolences to Gwen’s Mother, her husband, Barry, and the children. I knew Gwen through teaching in the Regina Catholic School Division. She was such a gentle, caring teacher whose heart reached out to those in greatest need. May she now Rest In Peace after a life spent helping others to learn and overcome any obstacles in their life. May your fond memories of her bring you comfort at this difficult time. With Sincere Sympathy, Lynda Browning.
