BROWN, James Robert “Bob”

Bob, born July 11, 1934, passed away suddenly at his home in Lumsden on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents Myra and Jim Brown; son Lionel; wife of 46 years, Margaret; wife of 15 years, Hazel; brother Eldon; and brothers-in-law, Ansley Dew and Ed Schaber.  Bob will be dearly missed by his children, Heather (Les) Mountenay, Darrell (Kim) Brown, Deborah (Dwayne) Hipkiss and Norman (Linda) Brown; as well as ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Ivadell Schaber, Kathleen (Art) Baker and Elizabeth (Gaylord) Newman; sister-in-law Marian Brown; and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at St. Andrews United Church in Lumsden on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm.  Interment will take place at Lumsden Cemetery following the service.  Flowers gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing, may make donations in memory of Bob to a charity of the donor’s choice.  To view the livestream, please click on the link above that will be made available on the day of the service.
