Obituary of Wayne Stewart Stonechild

Wayne Stewart Stonechild August 31, 1948 August 21, 2010 Respected Mosom, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin & Friend to many. Called home suddenly by our Creator at the age of 61. Predeceased by parents James Stonechild (Peepeekisis) and Bella Stonechild (Shingoose) Kamsack, SK, sons Free & Everette, siblings Ila, Isabelle, Walter, Dennis & Leon. Remembered for his wisdom, generosity, and wit, Wayne believed in the common good and stood for the rights of First Nations. Survived by Millie, James, Jeff, & Bernice; daughters Summer, Lorri, September, Candace & Shannon; sons Kanekaneet & Ben; also numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, & nephews. Apologies to those we may have missed. Wake to be held at Eastview Community Centre 9:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 25th. Funeral Service at Peepeekisis First Nation School Gym, Thursay, August 26th.
