I am lucky to worked with Troy for 5 years, and we became very good friends. I enjoyed the time hanging out with him because we made fun of each other all the time. He is a big man with a huge smile on his face. He taught me many things, including cows. He said we are brothers from different mothers. It is hard to believe he is gone. Troy, RIP my brother.

Very saddened to hear of Troy’s passing. As his grade seven teacher I truly welcomed him as a very smart young man. Troy always made me smile. We got along very well and had fun along the way. That particular class was indeed a very special group of young people. You will be missed.

T-Roy was a great friend and I am so sad that he is gone. I really miss him already.... In Saskatoon we were Vikings from the old movie of the same name with kirk douglas, ernest borgnine, carey grant, laughing loudly in a world where the last thing you could be was serious. In Regina he was the life of the party playing the guitar and singing with "purple gas"- always entertaining. I have so many stories that make me laugh out loud when i think of them. He was smart, funny, deep thinking and a man of great substance. He lived a life true to himself. I have nothing but the deepest respect for him. We really need to have a party to celebrate his life! signing off with the name he gave me and it is one of those stories.... Wally Widetongue... (jeff woodward@sasktel.net)

I met Troy when we were little children, as I was best friends with his cousin. As a boy, I remember him to be shy, fun loving, and smart. Years later, our paths crossed a number of times, and I saw that he had grown into such a successful, talented man. He always had such an upbeat presence about him, was funny and so quick-witted.
To Troy's family, my deepest sympathy for you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ah sweet sweet Troy, your passing came too soon. You were a strong, kind, funny, gentle, smart, amazing man that touched everyone’s lives that met you. I was lucky enough to met you 30 years ago in Virology class at the University of Regina. You had such a great sense of humor and made me laugh all the time. I thought wow he must be wicked smart to come up with the things he said on the spur of the moment. I was lucky to grow close with you throughout the years. You grew into a strong independent man and built your Ranch with your bare hands, with no complaints. He loved his cows and kitties. Our conversations would end with me always asking “how many baby cows do you have and how are the kitties”?
Your will be in my heart always
ALL my love…..Deneen
