Barry passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 with his wife by his side at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a brave 8-month battle with Merkel Cell Carcinoma.

Barry was born on September 22, 1959 in Edmonton, AB.  He moved at a young age to Regina and attended Birchwood Elementary and Luther College High School.  He was predeceased by his parents Keith and Marg Davidson, nephew Ian Harrower, father-in-law Roy Chatterson and his two youngest children, Landon Roy (August 2017) and Joel Jamie (August 2021).  Barry is survived by his wife Jamie, his children Breeann (Kirk) DeHaven and Dalin (Asanti) Davidson and his pride and joy, grandchildren Charlotte, Jamieson, Mason and Georgia.  He also leaves behind his sisters Heather (Jason) Brandt and Denise (Scott) Harrower, mother-in-law Betty Chatterson, brother and sister-in-law Jeff (Leslie) Chatterson as well as his nieces and nephews Mackenzie (Bryan) Read, Maxwell (Katelyn) Warner, Kyle (Marion) and Kevin (Lexie) Brandt, Rachel (Jesse) Harrower and Beck Chatterson.

Barry had a 36-year career at SaskTel where he met many lifelong friends.  He obtained his Certificate of Administration while working and raising a young family.  After retirement from SaskTel, he continued working in the telecommunication industry at DistinctTech, RJE and most recently Polus Telecommunications where he was a well-respected manager and friend.

Barry was the most gentle and loving soul.  He loved vacationing with family and friends. He also loved spending time at the family cabin in Shellmouth, MB where he could spend time on the lake boating and fishing.   Barry was involved in many sports while in school his favorite being football, in his adult life he loved to play racquetball and golf.  He was a much-loved hockey coach of his 3 sons and their team mates.  Barry was a staunch Saskatchewan Roughrider fan and had season tickets for many years.  He was simply the BEST.

The family would like to thank all friends and family for the support provided to Barry with his cancer journey.  Special thanks to Jacek and Kamila and his co-workers from Polus.  We would also like to thank Dr. Souied, Dr. Mahmood, Dr. Groot and all the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the 3B and 3A staff.
