Obituary of Katharyna Miazyk

With great sadness the family of Katie Miazyk would like to announce that she is now at peace, at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband John (Ivan) and son Nicholas. Left to cherish her memory are her children, son Maurice Miazyk and daughters Stella LaRocque, Mary Jordan, Annie Miazyk and Jane Wason; grandchildren Stephanie, Shawna, Thera, Jonathon, Michael, Jessica, Katrina, Adam, Andrew, Patricia, Thomas, Colleen and Henry; and great-grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Austin and Taylor. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. (TONIGHT) Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Divine Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010 in St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina, SK with Rt. Rev. Vladimir Mudri officiating.
