Obituary of Dorene Elizabeth Marr

DORENE ELIZABETH MARR June 26, 1939 March 12, 2013 With her family by her side, Dorene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Dorene was predeceased by her parents Clifford MacPherson and Alvina (Ellard) Smith. She is remembered with great love by her loving husband of 56 years, Allan; her children Peggy, Cory (Barb), Miles (Cheryl), Tracey (Brian); nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dorene is also survived by her sister Myrna; brothers John and Allan (Donna); and stepmother Fern and family. An avid gardener, she also spent a lot of time reading and loved playing bingo. Dorene was greatly respected and loved by her family, and she will be deeply missed by all of us. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. At Dorenes request, there will be no funeral service.
