As a young person going to college, I worked for Elsie in the 80's and became good friends with her. She was very kind to me and my new hubby, attending our wedding and having us over to her house. Elsie was a force to be reckoned with at times but I always found her to be very kind and thoughtful. I haven't seen her for many years but will fondly remember her caring heart and hearty laugh. My condolences to her family.
