Obituary of Gordon Edward Sinclair

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father, brother, uncle, mushum, and friend, Gordon (Junior). Gordon was born in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon Sinclair Sr. and Barbara Muriel Acoose; stepfather Ernest Acoose; love of his life? Annette; sister Tammy Lynn Acoose; brothers, Shawn Regan Acoose and Tyrone Emery Acoose; nephews Alexander Ray Acoose and Nathaniel Lavallee; niece Morgan Acoose; and grandparents Peter and Alma Sinclair and John and Clara Bellegarde. Gordon will always be loved and deeply missed by Kathleen Seitz and their children: Ernie Isaac (Charity), Gordon Sinclair (Leslie), Barbra Sinclair, and Jennifer Isaac; his cherished grandchildren Alicia, Torian, Dalton, Aidan, Alyssa, Jacob, Jhanne, Dayton, Deray, Kenyon, Knaan, Aliyah, Alexis, and Samantha as well as extended family and friends. He is survived by brothers Aaron Barr Sinclair (Glenda), Terry Acoose (Shawna), Trevor Acoose (Tamara), Neil Acoose; sister Clare Acoose; and numerous nephews and nieces. Gordon was kind and generous; he treasured time with family and friends and especially his grandchildren. He loved to travel and explore the world and enjoyed sharing his exploits by sending postcards. He took great pride in his outreach work and loved that he helped others by sharing his past experiences and life itself. A talented artist, Gordon created elaborate beadwork, intricate drawings, and not only painted typical portraits and scenes but also gave us joy with fake painted bricks and peeling wallpaper. Anyone stopping by for a visit was welcomed into his home to share his love of The Rolling Stones, Star Trek, Jeopardy, and Coronation Street. Gordon will be missed by all who were in his life. A Wake will be held at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, October 3, 2010 with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. A Traditional Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the IMCF. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com
