On September 20th, 2022, we said good-bye to our dearly loved and deeply cherished mother, life-partner, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend Barb Siebert (nee: Sedor). After bravely battling brain cancer for the past 9 months, she passed peacefully just a week before her 66th birthday.

Barb was a talented artist and cook who loved to travel and spend quality time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her independence, determination, and kind-hearted nature. Barb was a lifelong learner, whether she was honing her skills for her favorite hobbies, continuously pursuing education to build her career, or learning new ways to care for her home and her family. She worked until she felt she had accomplished her goals and then kept working. Barb showed the same level of passion for travelling, which she enthusiastically pursued with her partner Dave. From spending their time discovering the sights and sounds of Saskatchewan, to their travels farther afield both in Canada and Internationally, Barb's joyful soul and love of life can be seen on full display in the images captured from her adventures with Dave and the stories she would share of their time together.

Her memory will live on in her partner and best-friend Dave Cook; children Sarah (Josh) and Alexander; siblings Kathy (Greg), David (Ina), and William; nieces and nephews Samantha, Kyra, Zeke, Brandi, and Chad; granddaughters Avery and Sophie; and a host of truly wonderful friends. As well, she leaves a beautiful legacy of artwork to be cherished by all who have the privilege of seeing or owning it.

Our family would like to thank everyone at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre who provided such compassionate care for mom and took every available opportunity to offer her hope along the way. We would also like to thank the teams from Palliative Care and Harbour Landing Village who looked after her during her time in assisted living, and the wonderful care providers at Wascana Grace Hospice who brought her peace and comfort in her final days.

A viewing will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. For anyone who would like to come celebrate her life, a Memorial Service will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Barb's interment will be held privately the following day. To view the livestream of this service please click the link above, or to leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.speersfuneralchapel.com.
