Remember me when I am gone away,

Gone far away into the silent land....

Yet if you should forget me for a while

And afterwards remember, do not grieve:

For if darkness and corruption leave

A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,

Better by far you should forget and smile

Than that you should remember and be sad.

(From a poem "Remember” by Christina Rosetti)

Thank you so much to the staff of Extendicare Parkside who were family to mom/babusia throughout the last ten years of her life. You took such excellent care of her and gave her much peace and kindness that she lacked through many periods of her long life.  Also special thanks to Bill Soloduk and Kay Gawdyda for the many kindnesses shown to mom during her time in Regina, and to the St. Basil's UCWL for remembering Olga when she moved to Extendicare.  Special thanks to Father Warren Dungen, the current priest at St. Basil's Church.

Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
