Paola was a remarkable person. Born in Seminara, Italy, Paola immigrated to Montreal, QC, with her family in 1971. She was loved deeply by her husband Read, to whom she was married for 42 years. She was immensely proud of her two sons Matthew and Michael who will cherish countless memories of love and laughter. She loved her daughters-in-law Danielle and Paige and treated them as daughters of her own.
Paola loved celebrating holidays with family and friends. A natural host, Paola took great pride incorporating traditions from her Italian upbringing into every gathering. Aside from host, the only other titles she took greater pride in were Mom and Nonna. Her granddaughters were her greatest joy, spending every spare minute with Blake and Liv.
Paola always carried herself with grace and beauty. She loved spending time outdoors, gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, and the company of her many friends who will treasure her fun-loving nature, kindness, and ever-present optimism. All those who knew Paola were made better people for having her in their lives.
