Obituary of Allan Andrews

Allan Andrews passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2010 in the Pasqua Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Edith Andrews, brother Larry, sister Irene and son Gregg. He will be dearly remembered by his loving wife Florence, son Randy, (Joanne) and grandchildren Jackson and Ruby. Allan was born April 16, 1933 in Crestwynd, SK. He attended country schools as a child and later, Balfour Tech in Regina. Allan worked as an accountant at Toronto General Trust, Sasktel and CMHC, until he and two partners opened their own firm Taxco. He worked there right until retirement. Allan enjoyed construction work, motorized travelling and spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed astronomy, and even built his own telescopes. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina. Please meet at the gates just prior to 2:00 p.m. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, and the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at the Pasqua Hospital.
