Obituary of Agnes Mary Brandes

Agnes Mary Brandes, of Weyburn SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 90 years of age with her children, Kurt, Kim and Dee at her side.  In addition to her three children, Agnes is survived by her siblings Louis, Michael, Gregory (Butch), Richard and Joan; son in law Philip; daughters in law Iona and Nicole; grand children Ben, Will, Alexander, Nathalie, Emma and Layna; great grand children Kayla and Jace; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband Harry; parents John Devere and Christina Woodard; siblings Francis, Leo, Tom, Clement (Shorty), Urban, Gertrude, Yvonne, and Mary Ann.

Agnes had a loving, caring, and compassionate soul.  The richness of the family farm shaped her joy and passion for the prairies.   Her playful nature and deep commitment to family will be an enduring presence in all our hearts.

In mid-2023, there will be a celebration of life in Weyburn and an interment ceremony in Regina, where Agnes will rest alongside of her beloved husband Harry at the RCMP Academy.
