Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Lavallee

Joan Lavallee was born on December 15, 1936, to William H. Pratt and Rose Nabis. She passed peacefully on December 1, 2022. Joan is survived by her children Allen Lavallee, Leona Lavallee, William Lavallee, Holly (Floyd Gardypie), and David (Wendy) Lavallee; siblings Charles (Yvonne) Pratt, May Desjarlais, James (Delores) Pratt, Keith (Lisa) Pratt, Elizabeth Pratt, Marla (Marc) Sparvier, Loretta (Bruce) Cappo, Joanne (Hoss) Jack, Thomas (Noreen) Pratt and David; 32 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her adopted children Sky Blue Morin, Joy Anne Cheechoo, and Jenny Reid. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tania Rapitta for her love and care. Predeceased by her children Sherri May and Gabriell; stepmom Isabelle Pratt.

A Wake will take place at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Service will be held at Speers Family Centre on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Desjarlais Cemetery on Piapot First Nation.
