Our condolences to Joan, Shawn and Trudy from Gord and Susan. Uncle Dale was a drummer in his family band. When I was very young, his drum kit was the first one I had ever seen. Later I bought my own and followed his beat to many happy times playing for weddings and such. We would visit the Regina farm and Dale was always friendly. We attended their wedding and I'm afraid I got too enthusiastic with the confetti, showering it on the beautiful bride Joan. May you rest in peace Uncle Dale.

Thanks, Gord and Sue. Your recollections are interesting and sweet to read; I only knew Dad as a guitarist, so it’s cool to know he kept a beat and inspired you to do the same. Love to you both! Trudy
