Dear Leslie, Barbara, Richard, Scott and Families - We heard the sad news of Kathy’s passing with deep regret. She (and Carroll) were always such great friends and supporters. Over so many years, we thoroughly appreciated the privilege of knowing them and working with them for the causes we all believed in. They were indispensable and indefatigable participants in a great many election campaigns, federally and provincially. I remember fondly rattling across the backroads of Saskatchewan with Carroll at the wheel of an old red van. And even until very recently, it was an annual highlight on the calendar to attend the St. Matthew Church Tea and Bazaar with Kathy as the hostess. Our love surrounds you in your loss. Please know that a legion of friends share your grief and also a great many rich memories of these two wonderful people.
With deep respect and sympathy,
Ralph and Pamela (Kendel) Goodale

Sympathies to the Chlopan family.
Kathy came into our lives some twelve years ago when she and our dad, David,
became great friends. Together they were a team; helping and supporting each other
through many projects and adventures, including practicing yoga, organizing their weekly bridge outings, travels, not to mention daily suppers. She became an important part of our family.
Your mother was always on the go. Hurrying from one gathering to another. She was a bright
spark of energy. Wanting to help others, or make a difference when and where the opportunities
presented themselves. She always saw the best in others.
We had many good times, full of laughter, stories and great conversation.
Our family will miss her (and her baklava) at our family gatherings and will remember and
speak of her often.
Rob and Yvonne Dean and family.

My sympathies to the family of Kathleen Chlopan.
We worked together at the bank, oh so many years ago,
but good memories of a very nice gal - always pleasant.
We only met occasionally after 1961, but always enjoyed
a chat. May good memories of years gone by, be of some
comfort to you in these days of sorrow.

Ralph and I were saddened to learn of Kathy’s death. We were friends of Kathy and Carroll for many years at St. Matthew’s Church.
Kathy was a warm, friendly, outgoing, charismatic woman. She was gifted with organizational skills, as well as leadership abilities. She used these qualities to great advantage when arranging the many social gatherings and fundraising events held at church. It was a pleasure to work with her.
She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and loved having them visit.
She will certainly be missed.
Please accept our sincere condolences.

Lesley, Barbara, Richard and Scott: My most sincere condolences in the loss of your mom. She is such a special person.
Kathy came into my life as a client of my husband Brian who saw that she and I had some common interests (alternative health, entrepreneurial spirit and both being Rotary spouses among other things).
I so cherish her spirit, humor, and most importantly her mentorship. I have many fond memories of our friendship and working together and participating in Rotary and Inner Wheel functions. I especially treasure the memory of our trip to California with Carroll accompanying us to a health products convention. There was lots of fun and laughter for sure.
May your memories comfort and carry you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
