Obituary of Florence Isabelle Pinches

The family of Florence Isabelle Pinches (Large) is saddened to announce her sudden passing on January 3, 2023 at the age of 95.

 Flo was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob). She was the last surviving member of the Large and Pinches families of her generation.

 She is survived by her daughters, Joan, Carol (Darryl) Rachul, Cathy (Ron) Shaw, Sheila (Ron) Coutts and Sandy (Leo) Verhelst; grandchildren Michael (Liz) Rachul, Christen Rachul (Rob Kwade), Christopher (Charissa) Shaw, David Shaw (Pam Malach), Petra Coutts Scheibel (Greg Scheibel), Ryan Coutts (Shauna Perfect), Derek Verhelst (Samantha Gropp-Legassic) and Corey (Lindsay) Verhelst; and her pride and joy, several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

 Flo worked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for many years retiring in 1988. In 1975 they purchased a lot at Katepwa Beach and once retired enjoyed many summers there. For the last 3 years she lived at The Bentley where she enjoyed the many activities provided.

 She was a long time member of Westminster United Church and helped with many teas, bake sales and fowl suppers. Over the years Mom enjoyed bowling and golfing and only stopped a few years ago. She was also an avid football fan especially the Roughriders and held season tickets for many years. 

Funeral to take place at Westminster United Church, 3025 13th Avenue, Regina on Friday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. with lunch to follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
