Obituary of Betty Huber

Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Huber (nee Skene) passed away peacefully at William Albert House in Emerald Park, SK, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the age of 96 years. She was predeceased by her husband John; parents Robert and Jean Skene; in-laws Isadore and Barbara Huber; brothers Freddy, Bob (Winnie), Bill, Jim (Effie), Andy and Ed; and sister Irene (Clarence).  Betty is survived by her children Barb, Bob (Helen), Bill (Marilyn); grandchildren Jennifer (Joel), Bradley (Kate), Sarah (Noelle); great-grandchildren Clara and Theodore; sisters-in-law Jane Huber and Dorothy Skene; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a teacher for many years. She and John retired to Sandy Beach.  They enjoyed their summers there and wintered in Arizona or BC.  Betty was loved by all that met her, and she will be missed by family and friends.

For the past several years , Betty has resided at William Albert House in Emerald Park.  We’d like to thank the staff and volunteers that helped make her final years comfortable and engaging.
