Obituary of Lorne Cecil Lockton

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Cecil Lockton on Monday, January 16, 2023, in Regina, SK, at the age of 72 years.

He had an interesting life and started off as a milk man while going to university; he then completed his B.A. in Education. Lorne then taught school for a few years, and accepted a job at McDonald’s Consolidated, where he managed the distribution warehouse for 20 years.

He always loved flying and completed his commercial flying license. Lorne loved to play and listen to music, which resulted in Lorne opening a music promotion company. He was an avid photographer, who loved fishing and hunting.

Lorne was predeceased by his parents George and Dorothy Lockton (Bakus).  He is survived by daughter Linnda Lockton (John Moran) of Regina; son Tim Lockton (Dawn Weber) of Airdrie, AB; son Travis Lockton (Trina Quillinan) of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren Christian Lockton, Bryanna Weber, Quinnton Lockton and Vanneca Van Opstal.
