I stumbled onto Beulah’s obituary this morning and wanted to send my condolences to her family. I am also a SLP from Regina. I remember Beulah’s kind heart and loving spirit. She was a wonderful person and always seemed to be smiling. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you are comforted with wonderful memories.

Thankful for the opportunity to listen in to Aunty Beulah’s memorial service…. The miracle of the Work of God through the living seed is still continuing. Very thankful for the sweet influence she has left behind.
The attached photo was taken many years ago in Sri Lanka….. it was among a collection of old photos that I have had the privilege of sorting through. Aunty Beulah on the left, Preethi Perera in the center & Rohini Turner (nee Perera) on the right.

Aunty Beulah and Mani (Sebastian) were the first Sri Lankans we met in Regina back in 2009. We met them by chance at a CIBC branch. They became our first Sri Lankan friends. She was so welcoming, friendly, and caring. She invited us over for meals and we used to go out for supper on occasion. At one point her fav place was an Asian buffet on south Albert. We went there a few too many times with her as she kept picking it often whenever we decided to meet for supper :)
When I was pregnant, she and Mani made some delicious Sri Lankan food and had us over. They became part of our regular party crew at Christmas parties and my daughters birthday parties. She always had a huge smile on her face. And always dressed impeccably in a saree for these parties.
She was a strong, independent, and courageous lady. We were really saddened by her sudden death. She will be missed by us all for sure. Our condolences to the family. May her soul rest in peace.

I was sorry to hear of Beulah's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Beulah at the Board Office for a number of years; she was a kind, dedicated speech pathologist whose calm demeanour benefitted many children throughout her career. My condolences to her family at this sad time.

We have been very close to Beulah and her family. My sister and I visited her
In Regina a few times and enjoyed her hospitality and friendship very much.
We will miss her. Thankful for her steadfastness and commitment to her
Heavenly Father over the many years. We can be rest assured that Beulah is enjoying Peace and Rest as she has earned her Eternal Reward.

My memories of Beulah go back over 50 years when I began my Nurses Training at the Regina General Hospital. I worked along side Beulah’s brother, Dr Frank Samuels and he introduced me to Beulah. We were often in her home. We eoukd be served ‘mild’ Sri Lankan food. I moved to Australia in 1973, after that each time we would return to Regina for a visit we would always visit Beulah and her household. My Mom, Mae Petersen was a very DEAR FRIEND. I will always remember her warm ‘open arms’!!
