Obituary of Mary Alexandrine Fisher

MARY ALEXANDRINE FISHER It is with great love and joy that we celebrate the life of a beautiful mother and with profound sadness that we mourn her loss. Mary passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Pasqua Hospital. She was born in Lestock November 10, 1918 and married her husband in 1936. Mary worked at the Lestock Hospital for many years. She was a foster mother to many children and later cared for her elderly parents. Mary was a very loving mother and her home was always open to many family members and friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert (1953); parents, Matilda and Norman Lafontaine; brothers, Albert, Victor, Napoleon, Larry and Raymond; sisters, Bernadette Lafontaine, Florence Dagdick, Rose Vincent, Diane Wernig and Evelyn Gargol; son-in-law Henry Fisher. Mary is survived by her children, Dolores Fisher, Marina Roy, Denise (Rick McMenemy) Morin, Goldwyn (Georgina) and Tyronne (Carol) Fisher; one sister Pearl Fisher; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK TONIGHT, Monday, March 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ron Andree, Celebrant. Cremation to follow and an Interment will be held at a later date in Lestock Cemetery.
