Obituary of Katherine Soroka

Katherine passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on Wednesday, November 4, 2010 at the age of 102. She is survived by her brother Paul (Mary); children Harry, Ed (Phyllis) and Jack (Vivian); grandchildren Gregory (Brenda), Steven (Liudmilla), Paula (Joe), Robert (Joanne) and Ronnie (Debbie); great-grandchildren Tylor, Adrienne, Colin, Ruslan, Roman, Derek, Katrina, Katherine, Trevor and Amanda; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Metro; son Walter; brothers Bill, Steve, Pete, Harry and Michael; and sisters Tillie and Lena. Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2010 in St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina. A private family interment will follow.
