Obituary of Alois Deck

Al passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2010 in the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre at 75 years of age. Left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 52 years, Irene; son Randy and grand-daughter Sydney; three brothers Joe, Adam (Edna) and John (Gerry); six sisters Ann Baumtrog, Dorothy (Sr. Vivina), Catherine Gelsinger, Theresa Schossler, Beth (Andy) Ortman and Eve McCreesh as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his mother Leogadia (Koch) and father Aloisius; three brothers Jack Scharger, Mike and Peter; and six sisters Maria, Tillie, Mary, Margaret (Sr. Mary Judith), Helen Sherrin and Barb (Sr. Rosa). Al was a proud firefighter for 37 years. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Chami, Dr. Karunakaran and Dr. Brown and the staff at 3-B and 4-A at the Pasqua Hospital, and 3-5 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
