Obituary of Naida Lane

Naida passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 4, 2010, 19 days shy of her 103 birthday. She was predeceased by her parents Alvin and Gertrude McLellan, husband Harold; son Grove; sisters Peggy, Evelyn, Olive, Gertrude, Bernice and brothers Earl and Bob. Naida is survived by her two sons, Jack and Ross (Stella). She had 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Naida is also survived by her sister Jean Friese and sisters-in-law Janet McLellan and Dorothy Lane. She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews and many good friends. The family wants to give thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. At Naidas request, there will be no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
