Obituary of Elsie Oancia

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, November 07, 2010 at the age of 78. Elsie leaves behind her children, Susan (Carl) Luhning, Chris Oancia and Zarina Moxam and Beverly Oancia; her sisters and brother, Gertie Prince of Regina, Wilma Euteneier and Wilfred Leippi of Kronau, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Elsie was predeceased by her husband George in 2003 and her parents William and Millie Leippi. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Grace Hospice at the William Booth Special Care Home for their exceptional care. You filled our mothers final weeks with love and compassion. Elsies hospitality was her trademark and all were assured of a warm welcome along with a dinner table full of good food, love and laughter. We love you Mom and our memories are possessions that can never be taken away. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating.
