The James Gang? has lost one of its warriors -- Bev James of Regina, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 53. Bev was predeceased by her husband Yubraj Yubie? Singh in August of 2003. She was the second oldest child of seven born to Mary James. Visitation will take place from 7:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. TONIGHT, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Epilepsy Regina, 2125 15th Avenue Regina, SK, S4P 0Z8. Bev was a loved daughter, sister and aunt. She was born on August 13, 1957, in Regina, SK. She was predeceased by her husband Yubraj Singh in 2003. Bev and Yubie were married in Winnipeg, MB on July 26, 1980. After the loss of her husband and returning to Regina, Bev reverted to her maiden name. Bev is survived by her mother Mary James. The remaining members and outlaws of the James gang are: her sisters, Barbara (Jim) Vollbrecht, Bonnie (Steve) Franke; her brothers, Paul (Elaine) James, Wayne (Sandy) James, Dwight James, Philip (Wanda) James. Bev is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as numerous relatives in Ontario. Bev moved to Winnipeg, a city she grew to love, at the age of seventeen. Finding living accommodations nearest to the airport was of utmost importance. One of Bevs many fascinations and collections included airplanes. This collection will be shared with many. Bev also had a love for cartoon characters and music. She had the largest collection of old 45s that she blasted as loud as her old stereo and neighbours would allow. Music and Lyrics had much meaning to Bev.
