Derek, Aaron, Mike, Elizabeth, Marshall & Piper, and the rest of the Burns-Murray family,
I was shocked and as I sat here at my computer reading this obit, I said no, no, repeatedly, to the screen. I got up and walked away, came back and reread it. Then I remembered how wonderful it was to work with Louise at the YWCA 20-some years ago, to bump into her here and there in the community in the following years, and to hear the kind words that always came from her smiling face. She's left a mark on my heart. Those of you who were close to her must be absolutely heartbroken. Louise left a big mark in the world, helped heal a lot of people, and I hope the memorial fund grows and helps more.
Grieve well, friends and neighbours. We're thinking of you.
Deep condolences,
Bernadette & Jim

Louise you left us too soon...but the footprints you left behind have left a bright trail, touching all those you met in life with love, care and friendship. My deepest condolences to Derek, Aaron, Brian, Ben and their families.

Thank you Derek & boys for sharing Louise with the rest of us. She was indeed a gift to so many. A more loving & caring lady will not be found. I am going to miss our occasional Friday night restaurant visits. AS you said, the reunion upstairs will be great. God bless

This is sent with such enormous sadness at hearing of Louise's passing. Louise was a valued member of the support network for my sister Margaret. Due to her experience in nursing and social issues at the YWCA she was so valued and respected. In the spring of 2017 the Women of Margaret's Support Network were nominated for a YWCA Women of Distinction Award and Louise was a part of that. She was such a kind and gentle person, always thinking of others and how they were feeling. I always enjoyed running into her at the store and am so sorry it has been so long since I last saw her. Deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. What a shock. Hang onto those memories!
