Obituary of Evelyn From

EVELYN ELEANOR FROM (nee LARSON) Evelyn Eleanor From went to be with the Lord November 30, 2010 at the age of 92. She was born December 24, 1917 to Lars and Lena Larson in Binford, North Dakota. In 1925 the family moved to the Pangman district. After completing grade 12 she worked in Regina for a few years and on April 25, 1942 married Reuben From. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her children: Laura (Norman) Klassen, Doris (Andrew) Forgie, David (Donna), Dwight, Janet, Harvey (Nancy), Ernest, Carl (Lubie), and Ken (Janis); by her 20 grandchildren and their families: Gilbert, Steven, Douglas, Bruce, Robert, Leanne, Marla, Christine, Nicole, Kathy, Cindy, Randy, Marnie, Carrie, Amanda, Hana, Kara, Bradley, Michelle, and Richard; by her 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and former daughter-in-law Sandy; and by her brother Art Larson, sister Mildred Wilken, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reuben (1981), her parents, her sister Laura Powers, her brother-in-law Elmer Powers, and sister-in-law Grace Larson. Many thanks to the staff of Sunset Extendicare for their loving care of Evelyn for the past seven years. A Memorial Service to commemorate Evelyns life will be held at the Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Avenue East, on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:30pm.
