Obituary of Eva Fong

It is with sadness the family of Eva Fong announces her passing. She passed away peacefully at the age of 86 with her family by her side on Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Regina, SK. Eva was born on December 2, 1924 in Willowbrook, SK to Nick and Mary Blazeiko. Eva married Paul Fong on June 21, 1948 in Regina where they made their residence. They had two sons, Norman and David. She was predeceased by husband Paul, son Larry in infancy, grandson Brett in infancy, seven brothers and three sisters. She is survived by son Norm (Kathy), granddaughter Sara (Sean) and by son Dave, grandson Jeff (Brittany) great-granddaughter Myla, grandson Jarrod (Ashley) and granddaughter Alisa (Cass). Evas pride and joy were her grandchildren who she loved to spend time with. She also enjoyed participating in volunteer work, exercising and going for coffee with her friends. She was also a dedicated Saskatchewan Roughrider and Calgary Flames fan, and never missed watching or listening to a game. Eva will be mostly remembered for her genuine love and kindness that she radiated to all. She lived a beautiful life and will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower RC Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
