Obituary of Irene Earl

May 6, 1924 January 14, 2011 Irene passed away at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice on Friday, January 14, 2011. She is predeceased by her best friend and husband Ken, in June 1984. Irene was a war-bride who met Ken in Manchester, England. They married in September 1945 and moved to Canada shortly thereafter. Irene is survived by her daughters Lesley Jarvis, Cheryl (Gary) Kjersem and Gillian Oberndorfer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer, Nicki, Kevin, Shawn and Lindsay Jarvis; Chris and Amanda Kjersem; and Jaclyn Oberndorfer, as well as her great-grandchildren Samantha, Alexis, Jayden, Rylee, Carter, Brayden, Jonathon, Tyler, Devon, Daelon and Dominic. She is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Russ and Elsie Earl and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved well and was well loved. We will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Pauls Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. with The Very Reverend James D. Merrett officiating. Cremation. There will be a private family interment at the Veterans Memorial, Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Pauls Building in Faith Fund, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R2 or to the Humane Society or Salvation Army in the city of your choice
