Obituary of Louise Catherine Metz

Louise passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 after her long struggle with Parkinsons disease. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Magdalene; brothers Leland, Milford and Laverne and also by brother Arnold and twins, Kathleen and Raymond in infancy. Louise is survived by her brother Melvin of Rowatt, SK; sister Eileen (Ed Gallagher) of Sylvan Lake, AB; sister-in-law Dorothy Metz of Regina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a devoted and loving sister and aunt, and also to all who knew her. Louise loved to garden, cook and sew all her life. She curled a good many years in Regina and travelled to many parts of the world in her lifetime. Louise spent the last eight months at Golden Years Manor in Regina where she had excellent care. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Annes RC Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Lindenbach presiding.
