Vincent was born May 7, 1925 in Kendal, Saskatchewan and attended Silver Valley School. In 1942, he moved to Francis, Saskatchewan with his family and worked as a hired hand for farmers in the area. The family then moved to Tyvan in 1945 and he farmed with his brother Frank in the area. Vincent was gifted with the skill of water witching.? He was very successful in assisting many farmers to find wells on their farms. His gift led him to work for a gentleman who owned a well-digging machine drawn by horses. Vincent later purchased the machine and he, along with brothers Frank, and then Dan, dug wells for farmers in the area with a 90% success rate of finding water. In 1967, Vincent moved to Regina and worked for Wholesale Industries (which later became Nuco Building Products Limited) for 25 years and retired in 1990. Upon his retirement, Vincent became very involved in Little Flower Parish. He was a member of the Mens Club and later represented the club on Parish Council for many years. He was a member of the church choir until his passing. During his time in Regina, Vincent resided with his mother and became her support, and in her later years, her caregiver until her passing in 1999. Vincent enjoyed going to dances and playing cards with family and friends. On May 1, 2009, he moved out of his home and into assisted living at Queen Victoria Estates where he enjoyed being with the people, playing cards and shuffleboard and being cared for by others.
