After high school she moved to Saskatoon to further her education at Business College, and later met her husband Peter while there. After marrying, the couple moved to Regina, where they grew to be a family with four children. Adeline was a stalwart support to her husband as he started several restaurant businesses with his brothers, the greatest of them being The Lakeshore Restaurant. After Peters sudden passing in 1979, she carried on as a single mother, devoted to her childrens upbringing. Adeline was very sensitive, caring and outgoing. She was known to strike up a conversation with everyone and anyone, building lasting bonds. Adeline volunteered in several organizations, touching many people's lives. She was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church. To cope with Peters loss, Adeline found comfort and compassion in Alone Together and New Beginnings. She was active in her church through Stephen Ministries, Christian Women's Organizations, bible study groups, and acted as a Palliative Care Volunteer for many years.
