Obituary of Bernie Brown

On Saturday, March 26, 2011, Bernie Brown, late of Milestone, passed away at the age of 64. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Arlene for 42 years; perfect father to Shannon (KC), Sheri (Nolan), Shelly (Chris), Shauna (Doug) and Jay (Steph); a special Pappa to Brodie, Jonah, Daylin, Lane, Jett, Blake, Brea, Jordan, Brooke, Aali and Lara. Also remembered by Willa-Mae (Howard) Wickstrom, Iris (Don) Neufeld, Donna (Gary) Beck, Bill (Jan) Brown; in-laws, Joan (Don) Devereaux, Gayle Beck, Marilyn Deters, Carol (Jim) Barmby, Ray (Judy) Beck, Donna (Glen) Winkler; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends, Phil Winkler and Marie and Boyd Melko. Bernie was predeceased by his parents, Eddie and Jean Brown, in-laws, Russell and Marguerite Beck; brothers-in-law, Marvin Donald, Richard Deters and Bill Beck. He was raised on the farm south of Milestone where he passed away. He loved travelling all over Saskatchewan to watch hockey. He was a member of the Milestone Elks and was very active within the community. A Memorial Service will be held at Milestone United Church, Milestone, SK on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Ellis officiating.
