Obituary of Leona Lorraine Ward

Dont think of her as gone away Her journeys just begun, Life holds so many facets This Earth is only one Think of how she must be wishing That we could know today How nothing but our sadness Can really pass away. And think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched For nothing loved is ever lost For she was loved so much.? On the morning of Saturday, March 26, 2011, Leona passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Ward, daughter Laurie Ward and son John Ward; Leona is survived by her daughter Brenda Rowsell (Andrew); ten grandchildren, Kelly Gettel (Perry), Stephanie Weiss, Aimee Weiss, Randy Gadisauskas (Kristine), Cheri Lush (Steve), Jason, Amanda Ward, Josie Ward, Sabrina Ward and Elizabeth Ward; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her brothers, Stan, Roy and Raymond Smith and her sisters, Marie Tomeko and Clara Cooke. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower RC Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Barry Anwender presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
