Obituary of Elsie Chant

With sadness we mourn the loss of Elsie Chant, late of Regina, formerly of Maple Creek, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 4, 2011. Born and educated in Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan, she moved to Maple Creek to work first as a nurse at the hospital and then in the doctors clinic until her retirement. She moved to Regina in 2007. Elsie was predeceased by her parents; husband Harvey; brother Arthur (Ida) Winkler and sisters Ella (Sam) Frank and Stella in infancy. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her sisters, Esther Sept of Medicine Hat, AB and Lydia Bramham of Regina; brother Gerald Perron (Margaret) of Courtenay, BC; sister-in-law Doris Landgraf of Maple Creek as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to the staff of the Regina QuAppelle Health Region, the Regina General Hospital and Victoria Park Personal Care Home. Cremation. No funeral service at Elsies request. Interment at a later date in Maple Creek Cemetery. Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to a charity of your choice.
