On Monday, May 2, 2011, Alfred Barthel, age 96 years, late of Regina, passed away. Predeceased by his wife, Alma; his parents; two sisters and one brother; Alfred is survived by his two daughters, Anita (Allan) Dailey and Linda (Glen) Hansen; two grandsons, Philip (Tanya) and Sean (Laura); three granddaughters, Tara (Trevor), Glenice (Layne) and Leanne (Chad); seven great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons. A private family graveside service was held in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make memorial donations to the CNIB, 2550 Broad Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2Z4.
