Obituary of Anne Demchuk
ANNE DEMCHUK
Anne passed away at age 93. She is predeceased by her husband John; and son Lawrence. Anne is survived by two daughters, Joanne (Tony), and Linda; three sons, Russ (Colleen), Jim (Lyn), Ken (Jymmi Kaye); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel; these included lawn bowling throughout Ireland, visiting relatives in the Ukraine, luaus in Hawaii, shows in Vegas and many more. She loved watching curling and football and knew more about the players than the average Joe. She was also a player; she lawn bowled, swam, lifted weights and walked everywhere. She loved early mornings, gardening vegetables and flowers. She made the best cinnamon buns and donuts. Her family was most important. She sacrificed by taking on two jobs just so her family could have a holiday. At Christmas her grandchildren all received beautiful homemade flannel pajamas. Anne loved playing cards, especially bridge. Although her legally blind status slowed her down, it never stopped her from hopping the bus and going everywhere. She always thanked God openly and her life reflected someone who exemplified the endless possibilities that Gods gifts can bring. Funeral Service will be held at Little Flower Parish, 420 College Ave, on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Barry Anwender presiding. Private interment to follow in Regina Cemetery.
