Obituary of Leonard Vertefeuille

Leonard Vertefeuille, was born March 15, 1935, in Montmartre, SK and died May 25, 2011 in Regina, SK. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Judy Vertefeuille, brother Jerome Vertefeuille and sister Annette Gerioux. Leonard is survived by his children Janice (Raymond) Senger, David Vertefeuille, Denise (Keith) Black, Shelly (Don) Gorski, and Gary (Karen Charles) Vertefeuille. Next to his children his greatest gifts of life were his 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Leonard is also survived by his brothers and sisters Rachelle Kaczmer, Laura Beaulieu, Rhea (Jules) Bilodeau, Lucienne Osiowy, Dolores (Henry) Gadanski, Norman (Shirley) Vertefeuille, Raymond (Geraldine) Vertefeuille, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. Leonard was a journeyman carpenter who built a successful business Lens Construction. His sociable nature, work ethic and especially his unwavering faith in God will always be remembered. Special thanks to the staff at Pioneer Village for their excellent care. A Funeral Service for family and close personal friends of Leonard will be at Pioneer Village Chapel, 430 Pioneer Drive, Regina on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Norman Marcotte presiding.
