Obituary of Ellen Mary-Jane Lawlor

Ellen passed away peacefully in Regina on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the age of ninety one years. Dedicated and ever attentive mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Ellen is survived by her son David Matthew (Annette), daughter Karen (Dennis) and her beloved grandchildren David Anthony (Marne), Alexa and Liam. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edgar Hugh (Ted) Lawlor. The oldest daughter of the eleven children of Duncan McKellar Gillespie of Perth County, Ontario and Marguerite Mary Gillespie (ne Nicholson) of Lancaster, England, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Agnes, Florence and Elroise and by her brothers, Ken, Jim and John. Her sisters, Ethel Mark and Marguerite Ward and her brothers, George (Olive) and Don (Eva) are left to mourn her passing.
