Obituary of Donald Louis Ulmer

The family of Donald Ulmer are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Pasqua Hospital. Don was born July 4, 1935 in Wapella, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his wife Grace (nee Nixon) in 1997; his parents, Louie and Katie; brother Jerry; sister Gloria and in-laws, Alex, Roy, Verna, Marlene and Tommy. Don is survived by his children, Donald (Jacqueline), Wendy (Mel), Greg and Jeanine (Jim); grandchildren Sarah (Emma), Kristopher (Liz), Derrick (Crystal), Melissa, Kayne (Meagan), Sheena (Dane), Jacob, Lucas and Randy; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Ella and Clara; step-grandchildren Ryan and Chelsea. Also surviving is Dons partner Irene Dahl and her family; sisters, Eileen (Fred) and Ethel (Glenn); brother Melvin; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, Saskatchewan on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Thank you to the Palliative Team, Jan, Dawn, all the Home Care Team, Dr. Khaladkar, Dr. Carmen Johnson, Dr. Maria Zarkovic, Dr. McLeod, and the nurses on the Palliative Unit 3A.
