Obituary of Doris Maclean

On Friday, June 10, 2011, Doris passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Don in 2001. Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Brian Lowe of Zehner, SK and their children, Tyson, Jordan and Spencer; son and daughter-in-law, Ian and Florette Maclean of Hornby Island, BC and their children Cole and Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Janice and Dave Kerr of Regina, SK and their children, Jason, Jonathon (Allison) and Stewart. Doris was born and raised in Victoria, BC. After her marriage to Don, they moved to Cortez Island where they worked with the Columbia Coast Mission. In 1973 she moved with her family to Regina. Although Regina became home to her she always had a special spot in her heart for Victoria. Doris was active in St. Marys Anglican Church and the Monorchist League. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Marys Anglican Church on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Foxleigh Cemetery.
