ANTHONY TONY? BERNASKI January 30, 1915 April 21, 2013 Tony passed away peacefully Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the age of 98 with family by his side; the closing chapter of a long and productive earthly life. Predeceased by his wife, Emily and only daughter, Louise; he leaves to cherish his memory, brother John Bernaski; grandsons Doug Woodside (Lori Patrick) and Chris Schifferns (Brittany Mitchell); great-grandchildren Sam and Luke Woodside and Jake, Emily and Sophie Schifferns; as well as a large extended family. Born and raised in Regina, Tony was the proprietor of East Regina landmark, A-N-T Groceries & Meats? for some 35 years, and a devoted parishioner at Little Flower R.C. Church. The kindest man most would ever meet, known for his strong back, big heart and unwavering faith, Tony spent his life providing for others and never was one to complain. Among his proudest achievements was a small pin he received for over 120 lifetime blood donations. Celebrating his passage to the next life will begin with a Prayer Service held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jose Thomas Periyilkatte celebrant.
