Where he takes his place among family, friends and colleagues.
Your daughters emulate you. Yes, your children adored you and called you blessed.
Your sister honoured you; she adored you.
You watched over the affairs of your household
You cared for them day and night: you provided warmth for your family.
In times of plenty and through challenges, you had no fear for your household;
Like a hen, you gathered them and showered them with care and love.
They felt secure in the warmth of your love all the days of your life.
You did not eat the bread of idleness; nor sipped the nectar of haughtiness.
You spoke with wisdom; faithful instruction was on your tongue.
You were clothed with strength and dignity.
You showed great strength: you went about your work vigorously;
You brought wisdom, passion and compassion to your tasks;
You opened your arms to the poor and extended your hands to the needy.
