Obituary of Jean Marion Davies

April 13, 1920 October 9, 2011 On Sunday, October 9, Jean peacefully, at home left this world to begin her journey home. Waiting to welcome her is her soul mate and husband of 50 years John Gordon (Jack); her parents Charles and Anne Scott (nee McLean); brothers Gordon and Robert; and sister Margarette (Bernie). Jeans quick wit and humour kept her young at heart. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Karen (Hank) Towes of Arizona, Heather Eyssens of Manitoba; and her son J. Scott (Darlene) Davies of Regina. Born in Apihaqui NB, Kings Co., Jean was a history buff and loved to share stories with her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Fern and numerous nieces and nephews. A family celebration of Jeans life will be held in Southhampton, ON in the summer of 2012 where she will once again be completely reunited with her cherished husband Jack.
